Time For a Soft Revolution
A rigid economy of the public contributions and absolute interdiction of all useless expenses will go far towards keeping the government honest and unoppressive.
Thomas Jefferson, letter to Lafayette, 1823
In many American communities, people have begun to ask questions about revolution. Is it time for a new American Revolution? What will it take before people rise up and say, "No more?" Has there ever been a time when the government is more out of control than now?
Congress has become a kindergarten full of spoiled, rich kids, with no manners, no self control and no common sense. How else could any thinking person explain congress members accepting the idiotic statement made by House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi? "First you must pass the bill, so you can find out what's in it..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hV-05TLiiLU
Her statement was so alien that I waiting for astonished laughter to follow, but the senseless, marching idiots, in her party accepted her call for malfeasance as gospel and went right out and voted for a massive spending bill, without the slightest idea what they were doing to us. On national TV the Speaker demanded a democratic majority in congress, commit malpractice, by agreeing to major changes in America with no idea what any of those changes were going to be.
America is saddled with a leader so incompetent that he calls a press conference to demand Republicans vote to extend jobless benefits without PAYGO, just a few short months after he insisted all spending pay for itself, and when his sycophantic press secretary is asked about yet another flip-flop on the part of out socialist-in-chief, he couldn't explain it and promised to get back to them, which he never did.
Obama's ruthless incompetence in regards to the Gulf oil spill, went beyond helplessness, well into the realm of utter stupidity.
Other than jet around the world on Air Force One, Obama seems to not know the first thing about leading anything, much less a country. His lack of experience, common sense and skill so hamstring our nation, we are taken advantage of by virtually every negotiating nation.
Obama has lied about, or misrepresented everything he has ever done. Just like Sotomayor and Kagan, Obama never tells the truth when a lie is within reach. His incompetent, slap stick, act when faced with the Shirley Sherrod dust up, is symptomatic of a man out of his depth, beyond his pay grade and simply, sadly, lost.
Americans know these things but hesitate to put it all together, out of fear, I think. The fear is real. If we admit the total lack of professionalism, presidential bearing, good sense and simple intelligence in out leader, we are honor bound to do something about it and Americans aren't sure how to proceed. Obama and his cabinet of communists and socialist puppets, have become a sideshow in American history.
Imagine Gomer Pile and Sergeant Shultz running the country and you would be in a better place than we are now.
It's not just racism but how deeply Obama radiates racism, that has begun to rankle Americans. He and his lap dogs in the press shout racist at every man, woman, or child that dares to think freely. Shirley Sherrod is just the dumbest example, not the only one.
Remember the "beer summit?" Remember feeling quietly embarrassed, as our poor excuse for a president pretended to make nice with a racist professor and the police officer they both insulted and demeaned?
Do you recall the embarrassment following Obama's trip to Copenhagen to inform the Olympic Committee that they had his permission to award Chicago the Olympic Games?
Do you remember the predictable backlash from the leftist media, blaming Republicans and George Bush for America being eliminated on the first vote?
Americans are fed up with double digit unemployment, after being guaranteed that passing the stimulus bill would keep that figure below eight percent. Of course, the real figure is up around twenty percent, but the formula has been conveniently restructured to make it seem more palatable.
More and more, people are using the word, "revolution" when talking about how to heal the country. Revolutions are often preceded by multiple warnings, almost always ignored by a lazy, arrogant and self-satisfied governments.
Has there ever been a time when the government is as lazy, self-satisfied and arrogant as this one?
Obama has appointed czar after czar, each intent on limiting, reducing and finally ending liberty, in one form, or another. One czar was an out of the closet communist, proud of his hate American agenda and touted by Obama's close advisors, such as Valerie Jarret, who claimed they had had their eye on Vann Jones for a long time. He was not the only avowed communist in this administration, just one that got caught in the glare of public opinion and shown the door before tough questions started being asked.
One of Obama's top advisors reminded us about the true north of this administration, when she claimed Mao as one of two most favored "philosophers." Mao was a genocidal lunatic. He murdered 80 million men, women and children to foster his status and Anita Dunn calls him a philosopher.
Obama has pandered to America's enemies, sat quietly while marxist dictators poured hatred on America and has personally impugned American exceptionalism, our American heritage and America's vast history of charity, while trumpeting his own, non-existent record of racial, political and foreign relations healing. The Nobel committee, so overwhelmed with his non-record of achievement, they gave him the Nobel Prize because he said he might work on something peaceful, someday. The press laps at his feet as if he were a god and covers up any story that might not track with that agenda.
There is no agenda in the government of the current regime, except to build a pedestal on which to hoist Obama.
Watching the nominating convention, thousands were disgusted when Obama stood among the styrofoam columns of his phony Greek temple and proclaimed, "...this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal..."
Revolutions sometimes just happen. People have had it and they aren't going to take it anymore. They revolt at the ballot box, the tax office and at city hall.
When revolutions occur, nations are forced to change course.
We are at that point.
Americans must join in a silent revolt, throwing off the cloak of progressive marxism, mixed with totalitarian, fascism.
The people surrounding Obama are sick and America knows it.
Their sickness is power, control and the accumulation of personal. They slice through the assets of middle class America, in a race to bring us to our knees and totally under their control. It is not gentlemanly to refer to one's president as sick, or dishonest but what other term correctly describes this president and his disgraceful administration?
Vote.
Remove the career politicians and let those voted in know you will not hesitate to kick them out, also.
Be truthful in your dealings and accept nothing less from your government. Every time you know they're lying to you, scream, shout and force them to tell the truth. Truth is what a progressive politician fears most. Their agenda can't stand the light of truth and they know it. That's why they go to such lengths to control the media.
Refuse to go quietly among the communists in government. Refuse to be silent, anymore. Speak often and loudly, the left does. Demand your rights and liberties as provided by our Constitution and refuse to allow liars in the media to water down your objections.
Be brave and resolute.
Revolutions are won by those who show up.
Show up, America. It's time for a revolution.

The Case For Impeachment
TANCREDO: The case for impeachment
Obama has violated his oath of office over immigration
By Tom Tancredo
5:57 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010
Eleven years ago, like every citizen elected to serve in Congress or any person appointed to any federal position, I swore an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic."
I've always thought it significant that the Founders included domestic enemies in that oath of office. They thought liberty was as much at risk from threats within our borders as from outside, and French political thinker and historian Alexis de Tocqueville agreed with that warning.
In the immediate aftermath of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the greatest threat to our nation was clear - and foreign. While Islamic terrorism still represents the greatest external threat to America and American lives, the avowed program of the Obama regime has changed the picture in a fundamental way.
For the first time in American history, we have a man in the White House who consciously and brazenly disregards his oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution. That's why I say the greatest threat to our Constitution, our safety and our liberties, is internal. Our president is an enemy of our Constitution, and, as such, he is a danger to our safety, our security and our personal freedoms.
Barack Obama is one of the most powerful presidents this nation has seen in generations. He is powerful because he is supported by large majorities in Congress, but, more importantly, because he does not feel constrained by the rule of law. Whether he is putting up the weakest possible defense of the Defense of Marriage Act despite the Justice Department's legal obligation to support existing law; disenfranchising Chrysler and GM bondholders in order to transfer billions of investor dollars to his supporters in the United Auto Workers; or implementing yet a third offshore oil-drilling moratorium even after two federal courts have thrown out two previous moratoriums, President Obama is determined to see things done his way regardless of obstacles. To Mr. Obama, the rule of law is a mere inconvenience to be ignored, overcome or "transcended" through international agreements or "norms."
Mr. Obama's paramount goal, as he so memorably put it during his campaign in 2008, is to "fundamentally transform America." He has not proposed improving America - he is intent on changing its most essential character. The words he has chosen to describe his goals are neither the words nor the motivation of just any liberal Democratic politician. This is the utopian, or rather dystopian, reverie of a dedicated Marxist - a dedicated Marxist who lives in the White House.
Because of the power he wields over budgets, the judiciary, national defense and even health care, his regime and his program are not just about changing public policy in the conventional sense. When one considers the combination of his stop-at-nothing attitude, his contempt for limited government, his appointment of judges who want to create law rather than interpret it - all of these make this president today's single greatest threat to the great experiment in freedom that is our republic.
Yes, Mr. Obama is a more serious threat to America than al Qaeda. We know that Osama bin Laden and followers want to kill us, but at least they are an outside force against whom we can offer our best defense. But when a dedicated enemy of the Constitution is working from the inside, we face a far more dangerous threat. Mr. Obama can accomplish with the stroke of his pen what bin Laden cannot accomplish with bombs and insurgents.
Mr. Obama's actions, not just his words, show the threat he poses. A level of government deficit spending unheard of since World War II and trillion-dollar deficits as far as the eye can see represent an unacceptable threat to our economic security and our children's future. Mr. Obama could be the first president to guarantee that the next generation of Americans has a lower standard of living than their parents.
Mr. Obama's most egregious and brazen betrayal of our Constitution was his statement to Sen. Jon Kyl, Arizona Republican, that the administration will not enforce security on our southern border because that would remove Republicans' desire to negotiate a "comprehensive" immigration bill. That is, to put it plainly, a decision that by any reasonable standard constitutes an impeachable offense against the Constitution. For partisan political advantage, he is willfully disregarding his obligation under Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution to protect states from foreign invasion.
